Film Animals [1-5 Player] Tier List

An editorial filming board for the 22 verified animals. It ranks how useful each species is for Danger Shot and variety. It is not an official power list and it is not a damage chart.

How this board decides a tier

S means the animal is documented charging or attacking and is the kind of dangerous subject players said pays more. A means documented aggression or road blocking without a stated payout premium. B means a mild documented interaction that is still worth one variety clip. C means the animal was sighted and its behavior was not recorded. A new C species can beat another clip of an S animal you already filmed. There is no per-species price, so nothing here is a measured DPS rank.

S tier

filmingElephantCharges, rams, and burns the safari bus, gores players, and even a calf can shake the car. Groups are common on wildlife routes, the pyramid approach, and the cave route. Editorial rank based on documented attacks, not a measured payout.

Player decision Film from inside the vehicle and leave before the herd wrecks the return trip. Do not dismount beside a family group.

filmingRhinoCharges, follows the car, and flings players. Seen on the dangerous route and as a group in a newer location. One crew stopped a charge by throwing food until the rhino ate.

Player decision Roll through the charge for a Danger Shot, and keep food ready as the only interrupt that was shown.

filmingSnakeChases players and the bite can poison. It blocks the pyramid entrance and also appears at the cave. Players explicitly said dangerous animals like snakes pay more.

Player decision Film from a distance, then dodge. Do not spend the battery standing in the poison bite.

filmingScorpionGuards pyramid treasure with a venomous snake. Bites poison. A second scorpion was announced in the safari update and is not separately identified.

Player decision Film the guardian, take the treasure only if the timer allows the cave sale, and do not treat every scorpion as a new species.

filmingLionAsleep by day and hunting after dark. The night pursuit is the reason players go looking for a lion, and also the reason most crews should already be in the cave.

Player decision If you need the clip, take it while you still have minutes and a clear drive to the cave. Do not start a lion film at zero on the timer.

A tier

filmingHippoBlocks the road near water and is surprisingly strong, including the calf nicknamed Moo Deng. No separate payout premium was stated.

Player decision Film the block from the vehicle, then go around. Do not drive into the water to get the angle.

filmingGiraffeCharges and chases players on foot and in vehicles. Described as mean. Seen on the open route near the wildlife area.

Player decision Treat it like a charger and film from the jeep. A longer location guide was not available.

B tier

filmingZebraPassive with its babies until headbutted, and then it kicks. Kicks have been treated as rare-sight moments.

Player decision Film the herd for variety. Do not provoke a kick unless you already have the shot and a way back to the bus.

filmingCamelTough. It soaks hits in the burnt forest without going down. Crystals in that same stretch are also filmed.

Player decision One clip in the burnt forest covers a species the savanna route may not show.

filmingMonkeysA troop near the cave route that players befriend. One monkey was seen handling a coin. Loose coins have been picked up nearby.

Player decision Film them on the way to the cave so the variety clip does not cost a separate detour.

filmingTurtlePecks players who get close at a spot called the public bath. That place name was heard once.

Player decision Film from slightly back. The peck is the interaction, and the place name is not a confirmed landmark.

filmingBirdsSeveral unnamed types are seen along the routes, and at least one pecks players.

Player decision Film one clearly framed bird for variety. Do not assume every bird is a separate payout species.

C tier

filmingCrocodileSighted along the cave route. No interaction was recorded.

Player decision Film once if it is a new species on the tape. Do not rank it with the chargers until it does something.

filmingDeerSighted on the left of the driving route. No interaction was recorded.

Player decision A drive-by clip is enough.

filmingMuscovy DuckSighted near water on the route. No interaction was recorded.

Player decision Film from the bank. Do not drive into the water for the duck.

filmingFlamingoSighted behind the players along the route. No interaction was recorded.

Player decision Turn the camera if they are already in frame. Do not extend the day for them.

filmingHedgehogSeen from the car. No interaction was recorded.

Player decision Film from the seat so you do not drop the camera chasing a small animal.

filmingGorillaA group near the start of a run. No interaction was recorded. Key art shows gorillas with monkeys, which is not a behavior log.

Player decision Film the group early, before the timer is the problem.

filmingRed PandaPhotographed from the car on the end-of-day route. One crew shot a baby red panda at dusk with the lion already awake.

Player decision Take the clip only if the cave is close. Dusk is the wrong time to stop.

filmingPangolinSeen among elephants and snakes. No separate behavior was recorded.

Player decision If it is already in an elephant or snake frame, you may already have the clip. Confirm the species before you count it as new.

filmingWolfIdentified near camp at night. No hunt behavior was recorded beyond the sighting.

Player decision Do not stay out after dark to look for it. The lion hunt is the documented night system.

filmingFrogSpotted by the cave at night. No interaction was recorded.

Player decision Film it only after you are already in the safe area.

FAQ

Film Animals [1-5 Player] ranking questions

Why is a sighting-only animal not ranked higher?

No behavior was recorded, so a high tier would be a guess. Film it once for variety and move on.
